Douglas Clark: Selected Poems, Benjamin Press, Bath

This book is composed of 38 poems selected from his published works and 7 poems not previously published before in book form. Only `Perennial' has not seen the light before. The poems were written between 1967 and 1993 and the book is intended as an introduction to his work. Regrettably there is no room for the `Cat Poems' or the `Arkansas-poems', both of which need to be read in their entirety.

Some of these poems first appeared in `Acumen', `Lines Review', `Cencrastus', `Sand River Journal' (USA), `Avon Literary Intelligencer', `The Rialto', `Outposts', Completing the Picture: exiles, outsiders and independents (edited by William Oxley, Stride, 1995).
